Give Them the Childhood You Remember.
That childhood happened outside.
You remember it — bikes piled in the front yard, coming home when the street lights came on, nobody organizing a single thing. Just kids outside being kids. That's what we're building for your family.
From local experiences and birthdays to guides, merch, and community — here's what we've built for dads like you.
Get Outside - What We Offer
The Family Behind the Brand
A little about us (and our beloved duck.)

The Family
Hi, I'm Adam — founder of The Outdoor Dad Co. Regular dad. Lives in Wisconsin. Loves hiking, camping, biking, boating, hunting, and fishing. I'm an outdoor cat.
Meet the family — my wife Mandy, three year old Gavin, and one year old Alexis. We have a big happy yellow lab named Luna and a not-so-friendly French Bulldog named Lola. We also have plenty of chickens and ducks to keep things interesting — more on that to come.
I'm an avid outdoorsman who knew there had to be more dads like me out there. So I built something for all of us.

Meet Frank
About those chickens and ducks I just mentioned — there's one that stands out.
Meet Frank. Our white Pekin duck and the official mascot of The Outdoor Dad Co.
The backyard birds — which I'll admit I agreed to begrudgingly — have become one of the best things we've done for our kids. Collecting eggs, feeding the flock, just being out there. It's the brand in action right in our own backyard.
Frank in particular is something else. Messy, loud, and rambunctious — but most of all, completely lovable. He's a friendly face the kids adore and honestly the perfect face for what ODC is all about.
